New Login Option for GSA user

There’s a new and easier way to log into the D2D Portal through MAX.gov. Now you can access the D2D Portal with just one click!

The instructions below show how to use MAX Agency Federated Partner to log in when on VPN or when using a PIV card to authenticate for the first time. After using this new login option, you will be automatically logged into your D2D without going through all of the steps shown below.  For Federated Login you don't need to register with MAX.

If you do not have a PIV card, or if your PIV card is expired, you will need to be on VPN to use this new login option. Otherwise, MAX will prompt you to use a different authentication method.

How to Log In Using the New Login Option when ON VPN for the First Time:

Step 1:  Go to https://d2d.gsa.gov/

Step 2:  Click on the “Login” button on the top right corner

Step 3:  Scroll to the bottom of the page to find “MAX Agency Federated Partner” and click on the checkbox that says “Use this agency login every time I log into MAX”

Note: Using the checkbox to login for the first time will remain effective for a year. If you use different browsers to access D2D, you may be prompted to redo the login process and select the checkbox.

Step 4:  Click on your agency

Step 5:  You will be logged in using the new federated login

How to Log In Using the New Login Option with a Valid PIV Card and NOT on VPN for the First Time:

Step 1:  Go to https://d2d.gsa.gov/

Step 2:  Click on the “Login” button on the top right corner

Step 3:  Scroll to the bottom of the page to find “MAX Agency Federated Partner” and click on the checkbox that says “Use this agency login every time I log into MAX”

Note:  Using the checkbox to login for the first time will remain effective for a year. If you use different browsers to access D2D, you may be prompted to redo the login process and select the checkbox.

Step 4:  Click on your agency

Step 5:  You will be directed to this page to select a certificate (Note: if two certificates are shown, select the second certificate)

Step 6:  You will be logged in using the new federated login
